Walgreens Pharmacy

I ordered my prescription refill on Saturday online. It ran out on Sunday. They were closed for the Holiday on Monday. They did not fill my script until Tuesday. I have never had this happen before and never known them to be closed on a Holiday other than Christmas and Thanksgiving without notice. This was a medication that I could not miss a dose. They always do same day refills and have asked me many times if I would like to wait for scripts to be filled. I am very disappointed in this pharmacy, with the turnover in techs lately the service has become very erratic.

In the past we had been buying my wife's two prescriptions at Walmart in Gadsden for $31.50. Today, we transferred them to Walgreens in Rainbow City because that pharmacy is closer to our house. When we picked them up today and returned home we discovered those same two prescriptions cost $55.92! It cost $24.42 more at Walgreens than at Walmart! That's almost double! We will not be buying any prescription medications with Walgreens in the future.

USUALLY HAVE NOTHING BUT KINDNESS FROM THIS PHARMACY BUT I went there to pick up my meds since THEY sent me a text saying it was ready...my insurance paid for it which they don't if it's too early but this blonde girl with glasses told me I cant get it and was so rude to me and my husband. I walked in there after my husband since I just got my tooth pulled and she argued with me about me getting it even when I showed her the text I was sent to pick it up and showed her my prescription bottle date from last time I picked it up. So you're telling me you're the only person that's right that the pharmacy tech was wrong and my insurance was wrong for filling it? Nope she just kept with her attitude so I left had my husband go pick it up today OVER A WEEK LATER till I had to get it cause I didn'

I have no insurance, have always used local pharmacy, but decided to try them & they helped me with my prescriptions and I was able to get both of them for half the price I was paying for them.
