Walgreens Pharmacy

The pharmacist and some of the pharmacy techs needs to be fired. A tech lied to me and my father's insurance company. She's so incompetent that she switched a prescription that is supposed to be taken every 8 hours (3x daily) to once daily, eight hours after a meal! She said that's the dosage. She than stated that the insurance didn't want to make us pay a co-pay so they limit the amount of quantity, not realizing that she lied to a representative from the insurance company. She placed us on hold and the rep said, "she just lied and to call corporate." Another employee picked up and read the correct dosage. I called corporate and they were also unprofessional. I see why their shares plummeted and some locations are closing. I'm shorting their shares. This company seem like it'll be filing

I’ve been dealing with this pharmacy for months and they consistently provide terrible customer service. I call and they’ll put me on hold for extended periods of time. Most of the time without even telling you they’re going to put you on hold. Very often after you’ve been on hold for over 10 minutes they hang up on you. It’s happened countless times. The service they provide has gotten to such a low point where it almost does not make sense to even call anymore since you don’t get to speak with anyone. Simply ridiculous. If I could select a negative star I would.

50 mins on hold to speak to the pharmacy, had to use another phone to call the store and speak to the manager and he transfers me and then they pick up immediately. I understand having to wait but 50 minutes on hold and they never answered the call.. Secondly I go pick up my order waiting in line with 6 people and some guy goes up consultant window and asks a question next thing she's helping him get his prescription.. and cut everyone there. They need more help and some type of phone system that alerts them that someone is on hold cause it seems that the phone rings but no one answers it even while I was in line waiting. Nothing convenient about dealing with the pharmacy here..

This store is well maintained, well stocked and the staff is friendly. The head pharmacist is the best, as well as most of the pharmacy assistants. I only have had a bad experience there once with a pharmacist that I did not know and only met once. He was a curmudgeon. I consider it my local pharmacy and I spend a lot of money on medicines.
