Walgreens Pharmacy

I have been using Walgreens pharmacy Lowell Indiana for several years, off and on. I left them due to an insurance requirement for awhile but came back. I probably pay $125. monthly for my prescriptions. Almost all the techs are pleasant. Some go the extra mile! I have encountered one particular Tech a few times that always has some sort of issue with me personally. Last night the issue was that the prescription card on file was wrong. It clearly wasn’t our pharmacy card number she was using. She ended up straightening it out but she always seems to have issues. I just do my best to avoid her.

They must be short staffed. Things are a mess. There were prescriptions puked in baskets near the cash register that the pharmacy assistant had to dig through to find all but one of my prescriptions. I even kept receiving messages that prescriptions are due to be refilled that had already been picked up. It takes a very long time for the phone to be answered. Despite this, staff in the pharmacy maintain professionalism. Please hire them more help.

this place never has the drugs my Doctor orders. Even common antibiotics aren't available till the next day, and then at inflated prices.

Through these past couple of years dealing with the ‘Pandemic’ situation, I understand the amount of delays that is caused. I make sure that all prescriptions have been entered and when I know that is all Verified of my needs. I give myself extra time knowing it’s going to be busy.

Store was well stocked and the staff was helpful and knowledgeable.
