Walgreens Pharmacy

I am forced to use Walgreens because my choices are limited by my prescription plan and the closeness of this pharmacy. I realize that access to services is not what it used to be; large companies, by not hiring enough people, are forcing staffing to be anorexic. That said, there are things that can be controlled. The staff that does exist in the pharmacy should be held to a higher customer service standard. In my numerous visits, more often than not, I encounter disinterested people doing the minimum, yes, they ask the question, " do you have any questions, usually mumbled. If they engaged, I'm betting the number of questions would increase. Particularly when servicing the older population, I believe engaging would greatly increase compliance. Terrible service. Came for prescribed medication for my kid at 4:30pm, they took a prescription and said its gonna be ready in 2,5 hrs but don't come from 6 to 7pm cause they closed for brake. Came here at 7.20pm they still closed and just coming from their "brake"

I am shocked at how poorly run this Walgreens pharmacy is. Walgreens is typically known for great customer service, but this location is an absolute embarrassment. I called in a prescription for a basic, generic antibiotic and was told it would take at least three hours. THREE HOURS for something that should take minutes? When I asked why, Tiffany, the employee I spoke to, had no hesitation throwing her coworkers under the bus, blaming them for calling off and leaving her understaffed. That kind of attitude and unprofessionalism is unacceptable. I don’t care about your internal drama—I just need my medication handled efficiently and respectfully. My husband was discharge from the ER late last night, after a pretty serious car accident. on the drive home we realized it was 10:55 and the pharmacy closed at 11pm. I called (with little hope) to ask if the medication could be transferred to a 24 hour pharmacy . The gentleman on the phone said he would wait a few extra mins for us to get there to grab the medicine, my husband was able to get his pain relief and didn't have to suffer as much as he would have over night. Due to a kind man willing to stay late he was able to get some sleep. Thank you for your compassion 🙏.

I just got a bill from a flu shot 8 months ago. My shots are covered, so it could be fraudulent. We called this location, and they said to just pay it. They told me that you have to challenge a bill like this within the first 5 days. Again, it's been 8 months. Needless to say, I'll never use Walgreens again.
