Walgreens Pharmacy

Transferred a Px from my Reg Hannafords to Walgreens who I haven't patronized for 15-20 years now. Without asking me for my updated info (insurance, contact, etc) which has all changed, she told me I wasn't covered. Wouldn't even listen to the fact that I have new ins coverage, new contact, etc. Reminded me why I would never do business there again.

I contacted Walgreens Pharmacy at my providers request. My regular pharmacy has been alternating my p/u date on certain medications every month. Finally when a new prescription was requested(mine missing a code). My provider saw 1st hand why I'd been complaining. The above occurred 7 days after she submitted. I contacted Walgreens 1st thing @ opening. I spoke w/an excellent Tech, Jim. Jim informed me that the strength I needed was not only in stock but the shelf remained full every day. They handled multiple scripts in this strength. I was actually excited. Jim reassured me w/each of my concerns. While I'm on the phone w/Jim he said your prescription just came thru. Very friendly staff. The pharmacist tech handled a self-entitled customer "from out of town" that wanted his subscription moved to the head of the line very professionally. The prices in the rest of the store are ridiculously overpriced.

I went after 11pm as they close at 12am. The gentleman assisting me is always very kind, friendly & patient. Carolyn thought I had left the store & started speaking very abusively about me. Before letting her really boil herself in hot oil I said that woman is still here. I stopped going to Walgreens for a long time. They send me outstanding coupons to lure me in. Well keep your coupons.
