Walgreens Pharmacy

Used to love this place. It's been my home store for almost 3 years. That all changed tonight when they basically accused me of possibly stealing a prescription pad and writing my own prescription. They used the words "we have to call the doctor tomorrow to make sure everything's okay." I felt utterly humiliated and betrayed by the store I've been going to for 3 years. I had my psychiatrist appointment today. At the end he gave me my prescription paper like always. I then headed to the Walgreens I've been getting them filled for years. They tell me they can have them ready in about 10 minutes and I can wait in the drive thru. After about 20 minutes a different pharmacist comes back and says "im sorry but I'm not going to be able to fill these tonight." Some of the prescriptions are coming

Customer service is grievously lacking with some of the technicians, answering the phone very curt and cutting me off mid sentence and wouldn't even let me finish before telling me she would not help me transfer my prescription to Walmart's pharmacy "because that's not something we do" even after I had already called Walmart's Pharmacy to ask if they had the RX order which they didn't so Walmart told me to call Walgreens and ask them to transfer it over and the technician literally refused to even listen to me. If she had let me explain I needed it transferred because our insurance changed networks and I needed Walgreens to send it to Walmart so they could fill it but this technician had already decided not to help me. Worst customer service EVER!! I was out of a prescription that can't lapse, I was told it wasn't covered by my new insurance, the lady said they don't cover that, you have to have.... super fast prescription name, I asked to repeat, she said faster and then hung up on me!! I would have paid the full price. The insurance lady was sooooooo much nicer. I will not be back. Angel Woolard 3/24/25

Make sure you look at your medications before you leave. As they were supposed to give me a schedule 2 medication and they never did. They were not very helpful and had an attitude when I went to pick up the correct medication.

I used to love getting my prescriptions filled here, but the last several times haven't been so great. On several occasions, they've sent me texts saying that it was time to refill my prescription only to turn around and tell me it's too early to get them AFTER I've driven 20 miles ONE WAY (and yes, it's the closest location to me) and then just shrugged their shoulders like it was no big deal after I said something. Some of the technicians are very polite and go out of their way to help you, but most of the time the other employees behind the pharmacy counter are incredibly rude...cutting you off mid sentence, waving off your concerns and perhaps worst of all- making silent judgement when they see what kind of medication you're picking up.
