Walgreens Pharmacy

Philip at the pharmacy deserves a raise. He literally helped me 1 minute after close. I ran in as the doors were locking with an extremely sick wife. Philip was more than willing to help with the prescription even though I could hear the rest of the staff talking about how behind they were today and it was a Saturday and Valentines day. I just want to thank Philip and the staff.

The pharmacist here is great. He's just as knowledgeable as we need him to be while being very personable. He made us feel quite at ease as we got our vaccinations. I got the one for shingles, for the flu, and for covid. Rough weekend followed, but having had shingles once, I know just how worth it it is to get a shot so I never have to have it again.

The queue management in the pharmacy drive through needs some attention. The drive through routinely has cars entering from multiple sides. It felt chaotic and disorderly. The wait for drive through pickup was around an hour in my visit here today. It would seem like this responsibility for improving the queue efficiency should be in the corporate or head office, not necessarily this store management team. I would imagine that the employees at this store are just as frustrated as the customers (if not more so!) in regards to the wild queues here. This should really be a 2 star review, but I don’t want the store staff to be punished for a problem that district and corporate associates should be handling for them. Hopefully one of them reads this review and takes action.

This pharmacy is not a helpful care for your patient kind of pharmacy. They don’t want to answer questions to help a patient feel better with the medication they are getting as they are too overwhelmed. Was told they were working on prescription and I sat and waited and instead of being called to counter when ready, I had to restand in large line to inquire if done. They can and should do better. Big business needs to reevaluate how they want to allow their staff to handle their customers as it’s not the staff, but rather the company policies. I don’t recommend this pharmacy to anyone who is needing one.

I can't even begin to describe the lack of professionalism and lack of competency that this pharmacy has demonstrated today. How can one business be so unorganized. I truly hope senior leadership reads these reviews. I don't normally use Walgreens due to years of poor experience, however my doctor accidentally called it into them. I have now had to wait two and a half hours for prescriptions driven back and forth between the doctor's office and here brought them the RX and now..... They can't find them. I'm in pain.... That's why I'm here. The whole teams lack of competency and empathy. Senior leadership needs to clean house separate employment with all and hire new staff. I wish I could leave a -5 star review. They are horrible.
