Walgreens Pharmacy

Quite literally every single time I have to refill a script, I have to follow up with multiple phone calls, on one occasion after days on the phone I had to visit my physicians office in desperation. Whether I submit online or by phone the request ends up disappearing or the doctors authorization can't be found. The pharmacy staff is surly, even openly hostile. I don't have unrealistic expectations in regards to customer service. I don't want them to fall all over themselves or perform parlor tricks, I just want a simple greeting and for the rep to not look at me like I'm a jerk for wanting my medication. There are exactly 3 pharmacies in Guilford so I am left with either CVS or Big Y. Avoid this pharmacy unless you want extra stress in your life.

got a referral prescription sent in 4 days ago by my provider and they let it sit for days unfilled and not even bothering to touch it. i finally call to follow up on it and that’s when they decide to finally start it. ridiculous and entirely unprofessional. what if this was life saving medication?! have had issues with this pharmacy before where i need to call multiple times for a follow up about a prescription but unfortunately im stuck with this place as they are the only pharmacy in my area with my medication in stock.
