I had a disappointing experience picking up a new stimulant prescription for my child. When a patient is starting a new medication — especially a controlled substance — a pharmacist consult should be standard, or at the very least conducted respectfully when requested. I asked for a consultation, but the pharmacist did not come to the counter, did not make eye contact, and communicated from behind the wall despite the staff at the register clearly explaining which prescription I was referring to. The only information provided was “take it once a day,” with no discussion of side effects, timing, or what to monitor. Really bad experience! cashier lady told me to wait just so she could answer a phone call and take her time. Waited at least 10 minutes before i decided to leave!

This pharmacy is not in a fantastic location, and the pharmacy does close up for lunch at 1:30 to 2pm, but if you know that everything is great to go here. The ladies are fantastic and very helpful. They make quick work out of something that takes other pharmacy's forever to get organized and completed. I recommend this local pharmacy.
