Walgreens Pharmacy

After struggling with getting my initial percriptions filled, they have been pretty good updating my medications and sending messages when it is time to refill.

If I could give less than one star I would, I picked up my dexcom meter yesterday. It worked for 3 hours and stopped, I called dexcom They sent me a voucher for a new meter. I going into Walgreens to pick up the new meter and the pharmacist refuses to give me the other meter. She asked me how I'm going to replace her meter if I just have a voucher.. I said excuse me. The one you gave me yesterday did not work. I got a hold of dexcom and they gave me a voucher so I can get a new one.. she then proceeded to tell me she couldn't get me a new one without having another prescription, to which I said it is Sunday. My doctor's office is closed and I cannot get another prescription. And then I proceeded to ask her why I would need another prescription on the first prescription she gave me is for a

They never bother to notify you if there is an issue with a prescription. They tell you your order will be ready (ex. 2hours) and 2 days later it was finally ready..the medicine was in stock). I'm grateful there are 2 other choices in BC now)

Walgreens PHARMACY in Bryson City,NC is a JOKE! We went there for our FLU and Covid-19 Vaccine. Our appointment was for 2:30PM. We waited for an hour and the 4 people ahead of us were waiting 2 hours. We left and came back at 3:30PM and waited with 5 people until 6:00PM and longer. I can't believe how slow and kaotic they are. The poor lady had to do all of the paperwork and prepair the shots. She did do a good job of giving the shots. And the sad thing is, they are the only PHARMACY for 20 miles. The Sylva Walgreens doesn't even have anybody to give shots. It's really sad up here in Western North Carolina. Walgreens bought out the only privately owned pharmacy earlier this year and it has been a mess ever since. They don't have enough staff to do all of the work. Good luck with your pharm

Walgreens has excellent customer service at the pharmacy and front desk, no long wait at all. Low prices on products every week. All your first aid products on sale to fill your first aid kit, low prices on food and drinks.
