Walgreens Pharmacy

Ran short of a small dosage of generic medicine taken for over two years. Not a controlled substance. They refused to refill the two day supply needed till dr had office hours. Dr refilled and ran to pick up to their pharmacy closed at least a few minutes early. Manager nice but offered no assistance other than referring me to another Walgreens pharmacy that closes two hours later in another borough. I called helpline in the parking lot... great advice from representative saying you can refill your prescription at any Walgreens or Duane Reade pharmacy. I didn’t know that... so I drove 25 minutes... and was treated wonderfully. Will not be returning to Walgreens on Avenue U and East 57 Street.

Awful place. I tried calling to see if the pharmacy has my medication and the call would not work when I clicked 1 to talk to the pharmacy like the voice told me to. Saying 1 didn't work either, and when I pressed 2 in hopes I could talk to the front store and ask to be transferred to the pharmacy, music played for 10 seconds before everything went silent and nothing happened no matter how long I waited. Now my calls won't even go through, so I wonder if someone just really doesn't want to answer the phone

Long tedious lines. Pharmacy hard to deal with. Non empathetic staff. Prices way out of line with other Pharmacies.

I have a question why don't they have handicap parking near the door. THEY have it 2 aisles away.

I love the customer service here. The regular employees are so friendly and helpful.
