Walgreens Pharmacy

I love getting my vax shots here! It's the only pharmacy in the entirety of Rockville/Bethesda area that isn't terrible. James is a great pharmacist and I recently had the joy of meeting a brand new pharmacist there (a young lady). Keep it up.

This is the ONLY pharmacy I've been to in Bethesda where the staff is always super professional and courteous, and they go out of their way to help you. They also have wonderful communication regarding medication fills, including text notifications when they receive a prescription from your physician, quick and easy links to check the status of your fill, and text notifications when your medication is ready for pickup. After many negative experiences with other pharmacies in the area, I now only come here. Only down side is limited hours of operation, but still worth it! (And maybe the reason the staff is so courteous is that they have reasonable work hours!)

This is not the first time I’ve experienced this issue. On multiple occasions, I have noticed an unprofessional attitude and behavior that feels discriminatory. This has not only happened to me, but also to my family and friends, particularly affecting members of the Latino community. Customer service should be respectful and welcoming to everyone, regardless of background. Unfortunately, this has not been the case during several visits. Cece was one of the individuals involved; I do not recall the name of the other staff member. This type of behavior is unacceptable, and I sincerely hope it is addressed and corrected. Otherwise, I will feel compelled to escalate this matter to higher management.

James is a wonderful pharmacist! Very professional and knowledgeable. I recommend to call the pharmacy to make sure they have everything you need just to make sure everything goes smoothly.

I had a prescription originally filled out of state. I needed to refill it in MD. The staff here was great helping me navigate it to get my prescription. That would not have happened at other local pharmacies. I was very impressed.
