Walgreens Pharmacy

Switching to another pharmacy immediately. First time using this pharmacy. I have been waiting for a med to be filled for 4 days now, and they refuse to answer the phone so I can't check on it. They also managed to lose a prescription I tried to transfer to this store Edit to add im being told it'll be ready tomorrow, so yet another day. This is a very basic medication they should have on hand. I refuse to believe they haven't had the pills for 5 days. Edit #2. THEY CANCELLED FILLING THE PRESCRIPTION. I had to demand they fill it again. They finally did. Never again will I be coming here

The worst pharmacy I have ever seen. If you pick up your prescription here, you will encounter lots of problems from the pharmacy that prevents you from taking medication on time. Things that I have encountered include: 1) Insufficient quantity being given, and when I requested the medicine when exhausted, it is considered as early refill which was rejected; 2) Order being misteriously cancelled; 3) Insurance being considered as unavailable while actually it was not. It is astonishing how messy the management of this pharmacy is so that they can make such amount of mistakes.

We came to Walgreens for our flu vaccine. We had already scheduled an appointment online and checked in using the QR code when we arrived. After checking in, we waited in the waiting area for quite a while (~30mins) but no one came. When we finally asked, the staff told us to stand in the medication pick-up line to check in again. That makes no sense... what’s the point of checking in online if we still have to wait another hour in line just to check in again? The whole process was disorganized. No one seemed to care about the appointments or the people waiting. Honestly, this was a waste of time. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else that actually values your time and your appointment.

Edit: insurance issue got resolved in further visits but ai still didn’t get refund for the first visit charge. One star is accurate for this place. Please avoid this pharmacy. Went to pickup a prescription, told me my insurance is not active which was not true, I used it same day at a different place. Charged full price for prescription, asked to come within 6 days for refund and call my insurance. I called insurance and they confirmed prescription is covered and coverage is active, insurance tried contacting pharmacy but had to wait 30 mins and still couldn’t. I went there again, they said you should have come within 3 days, earlier told come within 6 days, then again they asked to call 1800 Walgreens. 1800 Walgreens asked to call third party payment service which is only available on we

Writing this review as I enter minute 90 on hold for a phone call that would've taken the same 1 minute that it took at all the other pharmacies I called, including the other Walgreens location I talked to immediately before calling this one. I was told this is the only location within an hour of me that has stock of my medication, and it would be upwards of a month's wait for me to get off backlog at any other location. This is absurd. I've been taking medications for twenty years and I've never had an experience this awful with a pharmacy. I've had almost exclusively pleasant experiences at other Walgreens, this is simply the worst customer service I've ever seen. I worked for years in a terrible retail store and we still managed better customer service than this.
