Walgreens Pharmacy

Review is for the Pharmacy ONLY: I wish I could give half stars. I used this pharmacy for nearly 15 years without issue, but my recent experience was extremely frustrating. I was told my prescription was not covered by insurance, even though I’ve had it filled there before. After updating my insurance information( AGAIN), I contacted my insurance company while at the counter. They confirmed it was covered and could see where Walgreens had ran my information and that the Rx had been approved in their system. Despite relaying this information and providing the authorization number the Technician had requested, I was still told it wasn’t covered. I’d give less stars if I could. This place has messed up my family’s script multiple times over the past 3 years. We only stay with them because of there prices. The manager is so rude she even tells you that she’s the manager and there’s no one else to talk to. I hate this pharmacy but I want to love it. There is one guy that always helps when I call “atleast 2 times a month due to there screw ups” and he is the only one that seems to like his job and care about the people.

I used to love this pharmacy. I used to recommend it over CVS. But in the last 5 years or so it's really slipped downhill. Prescriptions called in that should be easy enough to fill, take days to get. My son and I have had so many lapses in our prescriptions (that are on auto fill btw) just because the pharmacy can never seem to get our prescriptions filled on time. There have been several times when my son was in the middle of asthma complications and they intended for us to wait days to get his inhaler and nebulizer medications filled. I don't have days. I honestly don't have hours. Strangely, transferring the prescriptions to the Walgreens on the old side of Pearland was exceptionally faster. I LOVE my neighborhood pharmacy, they texted to let me know when my prescription was ready. I appreciate that. Just be aware of the pharmacy lunchtime! Also best to avoid the evening rush from about 4:39-7:00

Worst hours I've ever seen at what's supposed to be a pharmacy. This place is a joke. Every single other pharmacy in the area is better
