Walgreens Pharmacy

Called in for a refill, he told me that I would get a text when it's ready, well I'm still waiting for that. So I went to pick it up 4 or 5 hours later the guy tells me that they are out of stock. mind you i didn't get a notification of nothing, so he tells me that they won't have it until Tuesday, I told him that I was completely out of it and I need it for tonight. He says we can have it ready in 30 minutes, ok I'm scratching my head now because you just told me that you were out of stock so now y'all telling LIES AND PLAYING WITH PEOPLE'S HEALTH AND MEDICATIONS. So anyways I ended up with a 90 day supply of medication that they were supposedly out of. PLEASE MAKE IT MAKE SENSE.. if anyone knows how to report this to highest management please respond to my message because they need to k

Pharmacy staff are either excellent or horrible here. They play games with people's medications and don't seem to care. They won't fill a medication, sometimes a d ay before its due. Despite it being able to be filled the following day they wont fill it and then it will be out of stock. I cannot think of a single month this year where we haven't been out of medications because they are out of stock and we have to wait on it to be shipped to them. Meanwhile my partner has to deal with the side effects of running out of her medications. It's irresponsible and they don't seem to care. Its not 1 or 2 days. It sometimes takes as long as a week without medications. When they get the medications in after being outnof stock sometimes they don't bother filling unless you call them every day and as

Maybe they just need an adjustment in management or head pharmacist or whatever, but something is throwing everyone off. There’s always an issue. Sometimes it’s small, like a slight miscommunication. Other times it’s really bad, like they just outright forget to fill medicine, even when you call (repeatedly) to make sure it’ll be ready on time (and they verbally confirm that it will). What scares me is when they say they’ll do something, and then they just don’t. And they don’t really seem interested in correcting or salvaging any lost trust with their patients. It’s scary. They’ve also lied to me a couple of times. Maybe it wasn’t a lie and they just didn’t care enough to check the information and make sure whatever they’re telling me is correct or not. Worst experience. Been on a plan for over 10 yrs and now they refuse to fill my Rx. Doctor approved, Insurance approved plan and yet they think they can charge and not honor a DOCTORS care plan. Filing a complaint with the National board of Pharmacy as well as all state eleven that I can. This is unacceptable. Who do they think they are? Transferring everything today and never stepping foot in another Walgreens.

Unfortunately everytime I go to a Walgreens to pickup my prescription there’s a problem. Their customer service has really gone down. I used them exclusively for over 20 years. I switched when I moved but the local pharmacy left a lot to be desired. Their customer service needs a big boost. I’m talking about company wide, not just this store.
