I can’t say enough good things about MainStreet Family Care. My first two visits were exactly what you hope for in urgent care: fast, efficient, and effective. I was in and out in under 30 minutes both times, got exactly the treatment I needed, and was helped by genuinely friendly, welcoming staff. My third visit took longer--nearly three hours--because the team wanted to run a full set of tests. While the wait was longer than my earlier visits, it was absolutely worth it. Their thoroughness paid off, and they ultimately got to the root of the issue instead of just treating symptoms. I went to MainStreet Family care in Alachua, FL to establish a PCP. I noticed that they don’t list any information about their PAs or NPs online. I asked if there’s a way to know who I will be seeing prior to my visit. They said no after 2 rounds of emails. I found this odd but scheduled an appointment for a physical anyway. When I checked in at the kiosk it stated my co-pay is $0.00 if paying with a credit card or $100 if paying with cash and given the option to select cash or credit. Again, I found this odd. A few minutes later I was called to the back, at this time I was told/asked “ your co-pay is $0.00 if paying with a credit card and $100 if paying with cash, how would you like to pay?” I asked why would I be paying at all if this is covered by my insurance? I was perhaps fortunate to arrive with only one patient ahead of me. I was barely seated when I was called in by a friendly staff member. (I’m sorry I didn’t get her name) my treatment was swift, professional and thorough. Given the nature of my illness, I was Very appreciative. I would definitely recommend them!

I had an outstanding experience at the urgent care. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming, patient, and attentive. Everyone—from the front desk to the nurses and the provider—treated me with genuine care and professionalism. They listened closely to my symptoms, explained everything clearly, and made sure I felt comfortable and supported the entire time. The service was efficient without ever feeling rushed. While there seemed to be only 3 people ahead of us when we arrived we waited over 2 hours to be taken back & then another 10 minutes before anyone came into the room. After vitals & med history were taken we waited another 15 minutes before the PA came in to examine my aunt (92 yrs old). She recommended an X-ray which was taken fairly soon, only to wait another 30 minutes for the results. In short, we arrived at the facility at 4:15 & did not leave until after 7:00. I would NOT recommend this facility to anyone,
