Walgreens Pharmacy

They are always texting me telling me my meds are ready to pick up, then they are out of stock or claim they are not ready for a refill yet. They don't hold meds for long when they do have them. I'm almost always turned away and have to come back (which is awful with several medications). There's also really long lines most days.

I've only had to use this pharmacy more recently but I've heard horror stories from many years past. Today alone I went to pick up my prescription which I received a phone call yesterday stating it was ready, only to find that it was not ready and they asked that I return. I was in the drive-thru line and they asked that I come back in 20 minutes and they would get it ready immediately. I come back 30 minutes later and they asked me to drive around the building one time and they would have it ready for me as it was still not ready! In a time of reliability and open communication, they're failing on both parts and really wish they would get it together. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. They continuously tell me my prescription will be ready and never is and I’ve asked for it filled 4 different times just to tell me they’ll have it ready after their lunch break!!! How long does it take to pour some pills in a bottle?? This place is ridiculous and ran by straight idiots!! I guess nowadays anybody can be a pharmacy technician. Then had the audacity to ask me who I talk to like that matters?? Obviously the shift before didn’t finish their job before they left lazy bums!!

The absolute Walgreens location in my 30 years of using Walgreens. I would recommend any of the other local pharmacies or even mail service over this location. The staff and pharmacist Irene P are extremely rude and constantly making errors (multiple in the same visits).

Never transferred prescription to Bensenville location as promised, only to find out when I arrived at Bensenville location. Come back to Addison after sitting on hold for 20 minutes and they said oops, sorry we didnt call you but it is ready for pick up, head back over. Then wasn't bubble gum flavored and said, sorry that's not recommended for this type of med ( then why approve it when the order was placed in person) only to sit in the drive through for them to fill the script I was notified was filled 3 hours ago. Still sitting inline 20 minutes later with a line around the building and no one has come to the window, just talking through speaker. Terrible service and they don't seem to have their stuff together.
