WakeMed North Hospital

We had such a great experience starting with an unplanned ER visit Monday to emergency surgery to my husband's discharge on Thursday. From start to finish, we were treated by such caring and attentive staff and couldn't be more thankful and appreciative to those that took such good care of him. A special thanks to the surgical team led by Dr. Brandon Roy!

Came to the ER with my daughter who took a hard fall. She was in severe pain and we just knew her leg was broken. Surprise surprise, it was! And it was such an awful, emotional, and traumatic day! But, the amazing staff here went way above and beyond to keep my girl comfortable and happy. Every single staff member we encountered was kind, competent, and attentive (despite an overwhelmingly packed waiting room full of patients). I wish I remembered everybody's name! Thank you, thank you, thank you... to everyone who helped my daughter yesterday. It was still a rotten day... but you all kept us calm, smiling, and confident that she was receiving the best care possible. I am beyond grateful.

We brought my dad to the WakeMed ER because he was having strong pain. The staff was very quick to help us and made sure he was seen right away. Everyone was attentive, kind, and professional throughout the entire visit. They took great care of my dad and made us feel comfortable during a stressful moment. We truly appreciate the excellent service and would highly recommend this ER. Thank you

My Mom has been in the hospital for two weeks and she said they do NOT give the patients bathes they only wash you up with a wipe NO soap and water that is nasty and unacceptable. They told me that if I wanted her to have a bath that the family has to give it to them and the staff will assist the family that is something that needs to be reported. Because if it was their family member or them would they like that I am sure NOT. Wake Med need to provide better care for their patients who can not do for themselves so sad.

I'm rating this 5 stars for the ER staff that helped us last night. We had excellent care, and everyone was friendly, caring, and very helpful. The doctor spent a great deal of time with us explaining everything. It felt more like a visit to our family doctor rather than a hospital. Thank you to Mark, Spencer, David, Ashley, and Maryanne for treating my mother with such care ❤️
