WakeMed Children's - Pediatric Cardiology

Our daughter is a heart transplant recipient and has been a patient of Dr. Robinson's for 17 years. He and his staff have spent a lot of time lovingly taking care of our family. The new office at WakeMed is beautiful and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They are always willing to help answer all of your questions. Your child is in very good hands with Dr. Robinson and his staff.

After a health scare with my son, we were able to get a next day appointment with Wake Med Pediatric Cardiology. The staff and providers were friendly, welcoming and easily calmed our fears with education and thorough explanations of all procedures and testing - for both myself and my son. We had our first visit with Dr. Whitham this morning and were thankful for her calm presence and patience in taking time to explain the next step in our care. Her medical assistant was great with my 6 yo daughter. The office was clean and the front desk was very welcoming and organized. It was a great experience!

Our daughter was born with a CHD that would require open heart surgery sometime around 4 or 5 months old. We were connected with Dr. Jennifer Whitham about halfway through our pregnancy. We, as parents, were obviously very concerned about our child and if she would be alright or not. Dr. Whitham helped relieve a lot of our anxiety through her explanations of the condition and the process to repair it, her detailed ongoing analysis of our daughter's heart and condition, and most importantly her knowledge, experience, and truly caring about her patients and their families. Everything was as expected for the surgeons during a very complicated surgery thanks to Dr. Whitham and her team.
