I recently was treated by Dr. Haley Parker at the VUIM Clinic! I had a wonderful acupuncture session and couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment I walked in, the space felt calm and welcoming. Dr. Parker took time to listen carefully, explain the process, and make sure I was comfortable throughout. The session itself was deeply relaxing, and I felt a marked difference afterwards. I left feeling balanced, refreshed, and well cared for. Highly recommend to anyone looking for thoughtful, professional acupuncture treatment.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Parker for back and neck pain, and she has been incredibly caring and kind. She always takes the time to understand how I’m feeling before she begins treatment, and her calm, thoughtful, and thorough approach consistently leaves me feeling better than when I arrived. She’s also very easy to connect with which makes each session more comfortable. This treatment center blends time-honored East Asian medicine with modern medical approaches, offering a more holistic path to healing — finding the root of the issue not just managing symptoms. Dr. Parker gave us a tour of their herbal dispensary, where they blend specific herbs to support internal healing, treating the body both inside and out. I would especially like to recognize Hope Smith and Akeema Bichali for their outstanding care. They took the time to listen carefully to my concerns, asked thoughtful questions, and clearly explained the diagnosis and treatment plan. I enjoyed my time at the VUIM clinic! Fei and Areum are the best for team care acupuncture; they are gentle, kind, patient, and are always up to explain what point is being used and what channels as well. Their supervisor, Dr. Ju, also was soft spoken and oversaw the treatment well. The only quibble (but it really is beneficial to be honest) was that I was very interested in buying the herbal mint shampoo and tonic set, but the tonic was out of stock due to not being in stock. I found out that they make this in-house, so I asked the receptionist to reach out when the tonic is ready. I hope she replies! Overall a wonderful experience
