My family saw Dr. Kim, and we love her so much. She explained things thoroughly, answered all the questions. She was knowledgeable with accurate diagnoses and treatments. The staff were wonderful as well. They were super friendly and supportive. (I love Joy, the assistant tech and she is so friendly and helpful!) Not much waiting (which is hard to find at specialist's office), oh and also, Dr Kim and staff scan speak Korean, too! I'll recommend her to anyone who needs a general eye doctor, cataract, diabetic exam or stye/inflammation and more.

Our family had a wonderful experience with Dr Joan Kim's ophthalmology practice. The doctor treated our elderly family members with exceptional care, patience, and expertise. They took the time to explain the diagnosis and treatment options clearly, and we felt confident that our loved ones were receiving thoughtful, high-quality medical care. We also want to recognize Joy, the assistant, who was incredibly helpful throughout the visit. She kindly translated between Korean and English, which made a huge difference for our family.
