Special needs parents beware of this place. John Prewett is very uneducated and obviously needs a lesson in how to not talk to children on the spectrum. This is surprising to me as he seems to be a 80 year old man who has lived long enough to be familiar with what is going on in the world. Nonverbal doesn’t mean non listening. He belittled my 5 year old on the spectrum by telling him he has “issues” . I will share my experience with family and friends and advise them not to come here and put my experience out there.

Horrible customer wait time. Only seems like two employees are working in such a big office space. No one greeted, asked me for help, or even say to me one moment ma’am someone will help you for well over 30 minutes. Seems the only people they acknowledged are those with appts but even they waited long periods of time to be seen.

Just picked up my new glasses today and quickly wanted to come and post my experience with this vision center. It was truly such a great experience from beginning to end. I loved everything about it and will definitely recommend anyone I know to come here. Dr Prewett and his staff truly are amazing . Thank you for all your attention and support.

My review is on ordering glasses. They have horrible selection even for ones not covered by insurance. Everything seems to be an add on. Not very much selection for children. Costco has much nicer selections sturdier and scratch resistant and no additional cost. Even Shepard eye has better selection and prices on glasses. Only reason we came here was because they are the only place that accepts cencal. After ordering our glasses we are told it can take 3 months. I call back 2 months later and am told 3-5 months. I have never in my life been told it would take 3 months let alone 5 months for glasses to come in! Then we are told if we want glasses sooner we can purchase other glasses not under insurance?! What?? Very unprofessional sounds like up selling. Forget it I rather purchase high qua

Great service. Did my exam and picked my frames in less than an hour. If you have medi-cal be aware it'll take a long time to get your stuff but that's the state's fault, not the company's!
