Virginia Family Dentistry Patterson

I have not been to the dentist in quite some time. I was very nervous about the visit as I know I needed work done and a treatment plan. I felt so comfortable the whole time I was there The staff was very nice and welcoming. I felt so comfortable and relieved. I can’t recommend this Dentistry enough.

The hygienist was wonderful and Dr Tyler Perkinson was his usual outstanding personable self. One thing I truly like and am impressed with. You ask Dr Perkinson a question, he stops and gives you his full attention and throughly and willingly shares his knowledge and enjoys doing so, that is an incredible trait. Not to mention his wonderful personality and same for the entire staff. All of them make you feel welcome.

My husband was in VA Family Dentistry today, so this Is his experience mostly but, the office staff is amazing! They are so friendly and efficient and always remember who am (the wife half, even though I don't go there myself, only because I'm lazy and stay in Midlothian). If they don't know an answer to a question (which they usually do) they will find it ASAP. Tyler Perkinson is an excellent dentist and treats my husband like an old friend. He is very patient and consistently restores my husband's teeth no matter how much soda he drinks 😉. They are all truly patient oriented and you are not just a number or an insurance claim. Billing department is incredibly rude and unprofessional. I called to set up a payment plan for a bill, but it's apparently not possible to set up a payment plan with automatic payments which was not made clear to me by whomever I spoke with. A couple months later I had to call again to make another payment. Next correspondence I receive from them is a threatening letter saying they are going to start collections and could affect my credit or lead to a court appearance. The letter also claimed they had "written several letters asking to contact our office" which is absolutely not true. They never bothered to call either. Just straight to "pay now or see you in court". The accounts receivable manager for this business needs some serious training in professionalism, empathy, and also how t
