Virginia Family Dentistry Mechanicsville

I called Virginia Family Dentistry on the recommendation of my daughter. I thought I had an abscess. They were so nice when I called and fit me in quickly. I was greeted by friendly people at the front desk and was seen quickly. It was a cracked tooth that needed to come out. They made an appointment for a few days later. Luckily when I got home they called and I was able to fill a cancelled appointment the next day. Needless to say, I am impressed with their service and being able to get help quickly. I will be going back as a regular patient for my regular dental needs.

I had a wonderful experience with Skylar. I hope I’m spelling her name correctly. I mentioned my fear of dentist from a past experience many years ago. She was welcoming, she made me feel comfortable which allowed me to relax while I was in her chair. She explained everything she was doing before hand to make sure I was comfortable. She did an amazing job on my teeth. No more stains or tartar build up on my teeth. My smile is shiny and bright. Thank you Skylar, see you in six months. Everyone was pleasant and friendly.

No complaints! Good attentive care from when you walk in, till you leave. As I watch they always change gloves if needed. Have never gone there and not be satisfied. One that suffers with anxiety the calm is nice. Thank you!!

I will hype up Dr. Sykes and his hygienist Jessica as much as possible. My entire mouth was in horrible shape. I had multiple dentist turn me away or tell me I needed a whole mouth extraction. Dr. Sykes made it his personal mission to give me a full mouth restoration over the course of 6 months and saved my smile. He has the best bedside manner and is confident in his craft. I will always refer everyone I know to him. Because of him I am out of pain and I have my smile back after a 2 year long nightmare of teeth pain and decaying teeth. Not to mention the front desk staff is always so friendly and pleasant. They have all made a huge difference in my life and my health. Do not overlook this staff of dentists and hygienists. You will receive the best care!

The whole team is wonderful. Super quick and easy to make my first appointment, when arriving staff was welcoming and friendly. The dental assistant Amber and Dr.Bonds were amazing and brought my mind to ease with findings and recommended care. I will be staying with this practice for all my care and will be recommending family and friends for sure.
