Violeta Popii, MD Direct Care Endocrinology

I started seeing Dr. Popii in September for Graves’ disease and Type 2 diabetes, and I truly can’t say enough good things about her. She is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely caring. She actually listens to her patients and takes the time to understand what you’re going through, which makes such a difference. If it wasn’t for Dr. Popii, I would honestly still be very sick today. She has completely changed my health and my life for the better. I’m beyond grateful to have her as my endocrinologist.

Dr. Popii is truly exceptional. She takes time to listen, explains everything clearly, and approaches care with compassion and genuine expertise. She’s thoughtful, thorough, and makes you feel supported and understood every step of the way. It’s rare to find a physician who combines such deep knowledge with kindness and patience. A Private Practice doctor physician, Dr Popii makes herself easily accessible to patients. If you leave her a message, you can usually expect a response by end of day. She is a good listener, observant, knowledgeable, and thorough. She never seems rushed. Refreshing. I look forward to my visits. I give her high marks. 👍

Dr. Popii has been a lifesaver. After 20 years of having my hypothyroidism medication managed by my primary care doctor and constantly being told that my blood tests were “in range” even though I felt exhausted beyond belief, I found Dr. Popii. She took my concerns into consideration and added and adjusted my medications until we found the right dosages to get my thyroid numbers in an “optimal”range. After working with her for the past year and a half, I’m 80 lbs lighter, I have energy to do the things in life that I want to do, my mood is stable, and I was able to get off and decrease my psychiatric medications (with the support of my psychiatrist). I’m so grateful that I found Dr. Popii.

Dr. Popii has been my daughter's endocrinologist for several years. In that time, she has been guiding my daughter in losing weight and educating her about how to live a healthy lifestyle.
