Dr. Neuman is a caring and attentive veterinarian that has helped my green cheek conure Papas for several years. She saved my birds life in 2020 when she had an impacted egg. I can not stress how my bird Papas would not be alive today without the doctors help. Papas is now 22 and suffering with arthritis from old age. Dr. Neuman has been beyond helpful with treating my bird. To everyone commenting about costs. I originally went to a clinic in Long Island while Papas had an impacted egg. This clinic wanted several thousands to test for heart issues. Dr. Neuman saved my bird having correctly diagnosed her. I am beyond thankful.

I cannot recommend Dr. Neuman and the staff here enough! they have gotten my nearly 20 year old cat Ellie through diabetes and a variety of other ailments and are always kind, professional, and caring. I live in Astoria now but still make the hour journey out here every time Ellie needs something because I trust them more than any other vet I've taken her to!

I’ve been taking my pups to Vinegar Hill Vet for about 20 years, since shortly after Dr. Neuman opened her practice. I’ve used both clinics but mostly the Brooklyn Heights location. Dr. Neuman is the best, and Fani and the entire staff are wonderful, super friendly and great with animals. Yes, veterinary care - like medical care generally - is costly but I never have to worry about the level of care my guys receive at Vinegar Hill Vet. This 5-star rating is amply deserved.

It can be difficult to find an avian vet, but they have taken amazing care of my bird, and my dog as well! Everyone is always lovely & considerate. I highly recommend bringing your cuties to Vinegar Hill for care.

Had been taking my dog here 10+ years but never again Over the years, I can mention a few examples of my experience with them. 1. Misdiagnosis: Dog was recommended a hormonal bladder strengthening drug for urinary incontinence when I figured out the actual issue was anxiety and not peeing everything out. 2. Misdiagnosis: Had a lump biopsy and they recommended surgery to remove mast cell tumor so when I got to their surgical facility for the scheduled surgery for my dog, they couldn’t find the lump and said it was probably just a bug bite 3. Scare tactic: Claimed my dog had a heart murmur and recommended x-rays because the dog could “drop dead at any moment.” X-rays were negative for findings. 4. Business first, Uncaring about pet health, only $: Diagnosed my dog with cancer after they too
