Everyone at the Village Apothecary is amazing. Dr. Neal Smoller cares deeply about his community - his communication is direct and clear, he knows his stuff, and he truly cares about the wellbeing of his customers. The same goes for all of his dedicated staff, especially Aiyanna and Nicole. Story time: When I moved back to Kingston, I wanted to support a small local pharmacy instead of a chain. Unfortunately, the only community pharmacy in Kingston failed to fill my prescription for three days (while I was out of medication), or even to call me or tell me what the problem was after I checked with them several times. When I called the Apothecary, Aiyanna and Nicole went above and beyond. They coordinated with me to fill the scrip within three hours, and even took the time to give me advice

My wife and I have gone to Village Apothecary several times to get flu shots & vaccines and we’ve appreciated the professionalism and efficiency of the staff across the board. Staff has also been helpful and knowledgeable with customer assistance in finding needed products in the store. Overall, we highly recommend Village Apothecary for its professionalism in providing important services and stocking good products.

My doctor finally located a pharmacy that had a very hard-to-find medication in stock and sent my prescription here. What should have been a simple process turned into one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had in my life. I received a call from someone who identified himself as a supervisor named Neil. Within the first five minutes, he was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. He raised his voice, gave me attitude for no reason, and spoke to me as if I had done something wrong. I was the one trying to de-escalate the conversation, even though I’m the customer, and when I asked why he was speaking to me that way, he admitted that the way he was talking to me had nothing to do with me! He then threatened to call the police on me, despite me doing absolutely noth

Bravo to Dr Neal and his staff at Apothecary in Woodstock NY. Here is a great example of an activist, working for the good of the people, not destroying their rights to good preventive health care. I highly recommend you going for your vaccines now while we have them. You have no idea how hard he has worked for all of us. On the very day the Governor signed into this Dr. Neal was on the phone ordering as much as possible. Do not shirk your right to vaccines. We in Woodstock and in NY State are fortunate that we can assert our rights to good health via the Apothecary and its fearless leader, Dr. Neal.. Thank you so much.

The staff is extremely professional, experienced, efficient and most of all caring. The entire vaccine experience was less than 10 minutes including parking! Neal runs the most impressive pharmacy; our community is lucky to have him.
