Villa Rica Family Medicine

I use to really like this Dr.office until my last visit. I had to see a new Doctor since my last physician there retired. So, I set up an annual physical appointment with a new doctor (which is covered under insurance) then was hit with a $300 fee to refill my current prescription. There was no change to the prescription but since my last physician retired I had to have a new doctor prescribe it. A two second click on the computer to refill cost me $300.

Over a year ago , this practice was great. And I still like the doctor, but the staff is rude and doesn't get your appointment right. I needed to be seen for more than 1 thing, and they only scheduled me for 1. Left me in room over an hour, and then when I went out to find someone only, then did they tell me she was running behind. So they got my appointment wrong and had me waiting over an hour just to get a referral from the doctor. The only reason they got a 2 is because of the doctor and the manager I spoke to. I'm taking my business elsewhere. They will lose a lot more people if the nurses keep acting like this.

Things just aren't the same anymore. I used to get my meds without issue, I used to go in twice a year, and maybe 10 mychart messages a year. Now I can't get my meds filled reliably without coming in monthly and they ignore my mychart messages.

My experience at Villa Rica Medical center was great! Everyone was very nice and super friendly. Felt like they truly care for their patients.
