I live in Worcester, but work in Marlborough. I needed an appointment with a cardiologist in Worcester. There were no appointments available. I decided to look for cardiologists in my work area. I had many options. I had a gut feeling and chose the doctor. I checked his review it was 5 stars. I think God gave me the best option. He is very professional. You can tell he is passionate about his profession. I recommend him 100%. God bless him.

Vikas Desai is by far the worst doctor I have ever encountered in my life. I almost died twice because of him. I signed up with him as my cardiologist because he is well-known in Brigham Women’s as an interventional cardiologist. He used to do the hardest stents. But he is horrible horrible horrible as a medicinal cardiologist. First time he completely missed I needed a heart procedure. 2nd time he gave me a medication that almost killed me and left me by myself to fend for myself. I have a new cardiologist now and it is heaven and hell difference. Desai should be banned from practicing medicine. His office staff Amelia and Shay are great, but his nurse practitioner Brett is horrible. Desai doesn’t see you always and sends Brett instead. Once Brett couldn’t even figure out what
