I was in for about three weeks. I was in SNF for PT. The entire staff was wonderful very kind very knowledgeable and very helpful. Mrs ebony and Mrs Lili were my PT therapist were the best.Ebony is the queen of squats and lili taught me how to walk correctly. They worked hard with me and I’m home now and will keep exercising and doing squats and walking correctly lol. And the food was very good too. So a great big THANK YOU to everyone there. I would definitely recommend this home.
Beautiful. Wonderful people working here. Very nice. Enjoyed my visit. UPDATE: my first impression has changed. The office staff certainly need more training and be more transparent. Not just send a bill when you leave. You have to call (they answer without giving you their name. You have to ask for it) to find out what is going on when they clearly could have told you way earlier. The exit meeting is a rushed joke. Especially when they promise to help you get settled when you get home with what they might can provide you with. What did we get? 🦗. Crickets and a bill. Yea, right. The only positive was the physical therapist lady (Veronica, if I remember correctly) and a few of the nursing and custodial staff were really good. But the office staff- nope.
The staff varies with each shift. Some are kind and helpful while others come in with an attitude. I've seen things I didn't approve of but I'm not medically trained so it could have been normal for the patient. I don't agree with the delay in getting patients the help they need when I saw staff sitting around. It's one thing to be busy it's another when I see them texting on the phone or rolling their eyes when they see the patients call button light up. When a patient needs a diaper changed I think that should be a priority. No one should sit in an unchanged diaper for over 3 hours. Over all they treated me nice but several patients have confided in me that someone needs to step in and help them get more staff or train the current staff on how to be more patient oriented. my grandma is currently there. they barely feed her & she’s constantly dehydrated. they don’t take her outside either, she’s always in her room doing nothing. and they constantly give her sleeping medication. how can her dementia get better if she’s not being stimulated or fed/hydrated? the people who work here obviously aren’t educated on how to take care of patients with severe forms of dementia/alzheimer's.
Went in to visit a nabor and a friend the staff was very nice. Inclosed photo I found of one of the cna's her name is Emma Walker she was so nice
