⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review for Ithaca Veterinary Clinic – Dr. Meghan I’ve been a client at Ithaca Veterinary Clinic for just under a year, and I truly cannot express how grateful I am for the exceptional care we’ve received—especially from Dr. Meghan. Recently, one of our huskies was diagnosed with diabetes, and Dr. Meghan went above and beyond in every possible way. She didn’t just treat our dog; she took the time to understand our family, our lifestyle, and what would work best for all of us. This past weekend, our husky Keno began showing signs of DKA—signs I didn’t recognize. Dr. Meghan, out of genuine compassion, called us on a Friday night just to check in and see how he was doing. Because of her attentiveness, she immediately realized he needed urgent care and instructed us to go to Cornel

Thoughtful considerations that minimized stress. Such as: offering to wait outside or in car, final payment in exam room instead of front desk. Overall minimizing overlap of pets in the waiting room is great! All the staff were genuinely kind. Dr. Jen immediately made me feel at ease, and made sure everything was explained and any questions were answered.

Dr. Blount and the rest of the staff were very warm, responsive and forthcoming with information about the dental procedure they performed on my cat. Everyone was willing to spend time to answer all the questions I had. Highly recommend their practice.

The commitment to fear free practices whenever feasible was really my main draw to the clinic, but I’ve also been so impressed with every vet and tech I’ve seen. It’s so thoughtful how they manage the waiting room, payment in the room, etc to make the pets as low stress as possible. We see Dr Blount and are very impressed with her knowledge, thoughtfulness, and thoroughness. She speaks to owners like they’re intelligent people, explaining carefully but not ‘dumbing’ things down. She’s clearly committed to her own ongoing education which is so important. She caught an issue early on that would’ve been a much larger issue had she not. We’ve seen two other vets as well on urgent bases and have been happy each time. Scheduling is easy. I also find communication to be very easy which is so nice

Service was quick and straightforward - I walked right in and they were ready for the appointment to start. They were also upfront about pricing and breaking down how much each service cost, which helps greatly when budgeting and making other financial decisions. Vet was informative - I am a first time pet owner, so I had many questions. Dr. Blount answered all my question with ease and never said she's was unsure or didn't know. That certainty and confidence built trust with me. Caring and gentle - They made sure my cat had a pleasant experience, even when getting her shots. She got so churros and other fun snacks.
