Veterans Recovery Center

Never a good thing anymore dealing with the federal government & all the 30 plus years of not an improved system. Tons red tape & unnecessary administrative stuff you have to deal with every time you go to the VA. The system is never going to get better. They don't want to truly fix it. I've been going to VA 31 years now. Not a whole lot of better. Sometimes depending on who your dealing with it can be better.

They saved my life. I was soo broken and they are giving me the tools to live again. The receptionists, counselors and peer mentors are Awesome.

Great folks here. Im here weekly and likely gonna be stopping in more often. Everyone is welcoming and actually care about their vets. I got help immediately for my va claims and.. ACTUALLY MADE PROGRESS. These folks are great and deserve the praise.

The VRC helps veterans who have been hurt in combat, are fighting drug addiction, have PTSS (PTSD), or have mental health problems to give them tools to recover as fully as possible. On this day they held an indoor BBQ. Handed out awards & certificates for completing programs & number of years in the program. They had hamburgers, hot dogs, pulled pork, baked beans, potato salad, coleslaw, & chili for the vets & staff. My neighbor took me as his guest & driver. Was able to fellowship with other vets there who gave us details of their journey to recovery & the successful reintroduction to a better life with support & joint desires to overcome what has them there to overcome. If wasn't for this place and these individuals, I may not be writing this review. In a nutshell, they saved my life and I love every single person who walks through the doors, staff and vets alike!!!
