Veritas Urgent Care

All I will say is this: Don’t take your ninety-five year old mother-in-law there for a bad cough. I will be brief. Examination: Vital signs normal. No temperature. Breath sounds. Only examined both posterior lobes. Stated mild wheezing noted. No other lobes were auscultated. Listen to. Heart not auscultated. Diagnosis: Possible Pneumonia. X-rays are not available here. Go to Lexington hospital tomorrow. What else? Give her an antibiotic prescription. What about cough medicine with some codeine? Can’t do that. Cannot give without x-rays. Conclusion: Please cancel the x-rays and antibiotic. We will take her to her regular doctor in the A.M. Don’t waste your time going there.

This was the only place open at the time but after my experience I will continue to drive the hour and a half to come back. The staff is beyond great and I was seen very fast and provided with amazing care!
