Veritas Urgent Care - Lexington

Excellent service today! Called ahead to inquire about how busy they were as I had a meeting I needed to attend in approximately two hours and they assured me I would be good to go. I arrived at 10:59 am and the receptionist, who I had spoken to on the phone, was extremely courteous and professional, just like she had been on the phone. I completed all the new patient files, Insurance, ID, etc and was seen and checked out at 11:36. Doctor Hatemi was extremely personable, and I was seen, diagnosed, treated and discharged faster than ever before. FWIW, I have worked in medical clinics for 40 years and I am COMPLETELY satisfied and will come here again when necessary. I absolutely love Veritas and appreciate them. The nurses and doctors listen attentively and are very down to earth and understanding and it's usually super quick , I've never been in there more than an hour tops. They also are one of the few (maybe the only provider in Lexington that will see you for free if you're a veteran and don't wanna go all the way to the VA and thats amazing. That helped out my husband a lot before he passed. Highly recommend, best urgent care without doubt in the area.

This place has become a joke. they do NOT followed through with what they say they will do. Do not expect them to call you back, you will have to keep calling them to get any progress. It was over a week before i received results for an mri... no one called me, i had to call them, turns out they had the results in for 5 days! Now its been 4 days, regarding an ortho referral and the referred doctor has not received it. On top of that they have incorrectly diagnosed by son twice. Don't waste your money.

I was treated for a laceration to my finger. I call on the way to the clinic and was checked in over the phone. I was seen right away. Doctor Hatemi did an excellent job sewing my finger up and I was on my way in less than an hour . The staff was very friendly and efficient

I was seen 9/2023 and received a bill in 9/2025. I am giving this urgent care two stars because the doctor and nurses provided me with timely care and treated me with respect however the billing department (Mrs. Franzell) was extremely rude and did not process my insurances correctly. Please double check the billing department has your insurance listed correct if you decide to use this urgent care.
