VCA South Shore Weymouth Animal Hospital

I wanted to write a glowing review regarding this clinic and the treatment of my kitty Mooney. In the short time of having Mooney, we have had to come in to this VCA more times than I’d like to admit. (We are new pet parents, and I always feel better safe than sorry). Each time the staff has been extremely patient, caring, and helpful. When I say staff I mean everyone, from the booking, to the front desk, the vet techs and all of the veterinarians we have seen. I now know the cat breed we adopted has come with some issues, and everyone takes their time and doesn’t rush us with our questions. Thankful for this location and it’s team.

I’ve had several visits here for different reasons and with different cats, and every single time — even during emergency visits — the experience has been pleasant, reassuring, and incredibly helpful. The team goes above and beyond, not just during the visit but also with their follow-up care afterward. Their compassion and genuine concern for every animal truly stand out. It’s rare to find that kind of dedication these days, and it’s why I don’t mind the 30-minute drive — it’s completely worth it knowing my fur babies are in such good hands. We were away in Hawaii, and unfortunately, our cat got a bladder blockage and needed an emergency catheter. VCA in Weymouth was very helpful with communicating us, even with a 7-hour time difference. They were even able to hold him for one more night as we were not going to be able to get home in time for his release.

Fantastic care from Jessie, Amanda and Beth. Our dog ingested 3oz of chocolate. They triage staff quickly looked over Winston and prioritized a tech Amanda to look him over. Since Winston vomited at the VCA before seeing being seen they did not charge us any fee. We expected to pay some triage fee, but they were very generous. The staff was great would highly recommend.

Dr. Kiersten Campbell and the rest of the staff that helped my boyfriend and I with our cat Sammy and his poisoning scare in the ER were fantastic, kind, supportive, generous and so caring. I wish I had gotten the vet tech’s name and the names of wonderful people working at the reception desk! The receptionist with the lovely curly hair was especially amazing and so was our vet tech! Dr. Campbell was so helpful and down to earth and didn’t make us feel “less than” because of our financial boundaries. I’ve heard some horror stories regarding the VCA but I can honestly say this was not my experience even in the slightest. Everyone made us feel so valid and talked to us in a way that made us feel informed and comfortable about our choice in bringing Sammy there. Thank you to the staff at the
