I had such a wonderful experience at Vanguard Dermatology. From the moment I walked in, I was seen right away and everyone was incredibly polite, professional, and welcoming. The doctor assisted me within just a couple of minutes, which I really appreciated—no long waiting at all. The entire visit felt smooth, efficient, and genuinely caring. I felt comfortable, heard, and well taken care of. This will definitely be my new go-to place for any dermatology services I need. They also take most insurance plans, which makes it even better. I’m absolutely coming back and highly recommend them!
Went to this facility for over 6 years now. Had an appointment, that they confirmed with me the day before. Arrived 5 minutes late, yes FIVE..proof is in my call log. They were closed! Zero decency to even call me. Wasted over 3 hours traveling for a non-existent appointment and left work early for this. It's amazing how irresponsible ppl are these days and noone wants to work! Very unprofessional and they definitely lost a good loyal patient who has sent them many referrals over the years..
Stay away from that place. Dr.Shapiro did a terrible job with my minor surgery, cut twice the size that was needed, terrible stitching and scarring. Plus when I came for my appointment the front desk receptionist reassured me I just have a copay the rest insurance will cover, now they sent me a bill for what insurance didn’t cover. Woukd be good if they would’ve verified it first and get authorisation. Very shady practice.
I saw Esther the PA who did a very thorough skin cancer screening and two biopsies. I will be having DR Shapiro removing a suspicious mole. No wait time, friendly staff…all questions answered and I felt comfortable and confident that I made the right choice choosing them! Highly recommend!
Nargiza V was very professional and attentive throughout my visit. She addressed all my concerns in detail. Her bedside manner is excellent. I also appreciate her quick response to my phone call after the office visit.
