Valley Medical Group - Endocrinology, Ridgewood

Dr. Kalman is great. BUT the office staff is horrible. I called twice and left messages to get script for bloodwork before I had my 6 month appointment for Prolia. Crickets from the office. I sent an email, again looking for the same script. A few days later I got a call from someone in the office that said she would put it in the mail. 10 days later crickets again. I can't keep doing this. Unfortunately, Valley Endocrinology will be in my rearview mirror. If they can't do the simple things, what happens when things might get "messy"?

I understand a lot of people make appointments and takes MONTHS to see a doctor. Office staff is HORRIBLE at getting back to patients. I try to make an appointment and noone ever contacts me back. Also tried to find a new doctor and this place has yet to send over my records. Been 2 months. Clearly don’t care about patients.

I never had an endocrinologist until September of 2024. I arrived at Valley Hospital via ambulance. I had been suggesting I be given a feeding tube and Dr. Sharif is the one who finally made sure that happened. I will forever be grateful for his taking the time to look over my case and realize there needed to be some kind of intervention!

Disappointed because non critical but nonetheless important messages in the patient portal can go unanswered for several days and voice mails aren’t returned. The recoding informs callers that their call will be returned in 48 hours.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This might be the most unhelpful practice I have ever come across. After sending lab results and referrals multiple times and making online appointments and speaking to people on the phone, they Canceled our appointments that were time sensitive without telling us. Lab reports and referrals were sent from Valley pediatrics original copies and receipts were kept. Again, after rebooking the Appointment for my 18-year-old Daughter, They canceled the appointment saying that lab reports and referrals were not received. And that we couldn’t get another appointment for another two months. Do not bother with this place they are horrific.
