Valdosta Allergy Asthma & Immunology: Dr. Juan Guarderas

Dr Guarderas‘s and his staff are absolutely amazing! They fit you in the same day if you need an appointment and are very concerned about any of your medical issues. If you need a prescription called in, they don’t hesitate to call you back promptly and take care of the situation. Dr Guarderas spends extra time with his patients and is very professional along with all the other staff members. I highly recommend Valdosta as my allergy group.

My daughter is a new patient of Dr. Guarderas, and I have no complaints. The office staff is welcoming, and they truly honor your appointment time. I highly recommend!

Wonderful doctor who goes beyond a narrow check list. He also explains what and why he is thinking. I love the way Dr. G writes down the information and gives the patient a copy and keeps a copy. If anyone can get to the bottom of a problem Dr. G can.

I can't believe he's the same doctor the people with negative reviews saw. I think he has the best bedside manner I've ever seen. He was able to gather information to make a diagnosis and from there a treatment plan. I'm absolutely thrilled! I had lost hope in doctors. I thought the staff was friendly and efficient. I didn't wait as long as I usually do at most doctor's offices.

BEWARE! In short, we will not be returning to this practice. Very poor communication. Long wait times. Questionable billing. Unprofessional. Details: At check-in for the initial appointment, I was told by the receptionist that "someone" spoke to me and told me that my insurance required full payment for the visit because they were out of network. False. No one called me. We would have gone to an in-plan provider across town. Since it took months to get a referral and we were there, I paid the unexpected amount so that my son could be seen. Hours after arriving early for his appointment, we finally see the provider.
