VA Hospital

So of the 3 VA hospitals I have had the pleasure of visiting, this is by far the best one. The doctors are prompt knowledgeable and have a great bed side manner. I recomed this over new orleans by 100000%.

You serve your country and this is the best service the United States government can provide. Blame our elected officials and the political greed lining the pockets of party lines. THE GOOD: The nurses and essential staff are the ones keeping this place from a 1 Star rating. Thank a nurse. Greet a custodian. And be nice to your team secretaries. THE BAD: It took almost 3 years to change a provider... THE UGLY: The VA and I have a love/hate relationship.

I humbly ask and pray that the VA gets their own VA Maternity Wing for Female Veterans and their families. Stop out sourcing us to places where our care, health, and treatment is not of importance.

***Update*** Waited another 2 months only to find out my appt was cancelled AGAIN!!!! No notification or calls. Absolute trash!!!!!! Waited just over 2+ months for an appt. Only to have it cancelled on me 4 days before hand. After numerous calls and being told someone will call me back (which never happened), I finally get a new appt. Another 2+ months out.

Been there numerous times. Always helpful and courteous. Dental clinic is especially good. S great place for veterans to get the help they need.
