Utah Imaging Associates

I never got a bill from them and when I received a bill from a debit collector, I paid it off. Now I get another bill from a debit collector and when I call Utah imaging they say they can't go back on past balances and they can't see if my insurance was placed in. I just spoke with Nicole and I'm sorry to say but she was no help. She kept on saying that I have to call express recovery (the debit collector) and go with them. I again told her, how would I know if they billed my insurance or not. Also how come i never received a statement through the mail? She again said she couldn't open it and see it since it has been a past balance. They are no help whatsoever. If I can give this place a 0 star, I would.

Would leave a negative stars if I could. Seems to be a theme with these people looking at all the one star reviews. I didn't get a bill. I looked at all my explanation of benefits from my insurance I don't see any reference to me going to these people. But I just got a collections notice from Clear Management Solutions. Tried to log into Utah Imaging Associates with the account number from the letter and nothing comes up. This is either a scam or they never billed my insurance or I would be able to see a record that my insurance refused to pay or paid a partial. Nothing.

We got a bill from collections for $9... come to find out they never even tried to run it though our insurance. I have all of my mail tracked thats sent to my house to also prove they never sent a bill. I plan on filling a formal complaint with the state.

I had a dr apt in June (of this year) - received no billing - I just received a "pre-collections" statement from Clear Management Solutions. I tried calling UIA to pay the bill directly and they said I couldn't and that it was already sent to CMS. CMS said that they had my bill for a month and would wait 90 days from when they got it before sending it to collections. This was for $49.02..... So UIA only waited 3 months (probably 90 days) before sending me to collections (never been to collections before). Sometimes dr offices, especially when going through insurance, won't even get their first bill to the patient in 3 months. EDIT- In the statement it looks like I was credited $74.98 from insurance - meaning insurance paid CMS not UIA and my total amount sent to CMS was $124...they sent

Dang it! I should have researched first. Just like everyone here I got a letter from a collector about a small outstanding amount. I went ahead to pay it (all of the sudden a 5 dollar fee on top) to get it out of the way... that was a mistake! I went through my bills later and never received a bill from them. Calls stay unanswered too. I don't know what their agenda is, but know your rights! Do not pay unless you know what's going on.
