UT Southwestern Hematology/Oncology Department

I am here to see Dr. Polanco for an ongoing issue stemming from a different surgery I had years ago by another doctor. The staff are great, Miranda is a friendly and knowledgeable nurse that greeted us. The first impression was that the staff care about their patients and that does not happen everywhere. The doctor is wonderful as he took his time to make sure I understood my options and what procedure I shall be having. I have been blessed with great doctors.

The staff and physicians are all phenomenal at 6202 Harry Hines. However, the staff in the parking services/valet department need a class in customer service. My mother gets her parking validated for each of her visits which has been such a blessing because she has so many appointments. I noticed that the validated parking voucher changed. I went to the kiosk on the main floor and tried to scan my ticket and it said the card was faulty. I pressed the intercom for help and no one ever showed up. I decided to go to my car and take my chances at the exit and it still did not work. I called several times and a man who appeared to be middle aged with gray hair with a middle eastern accent came and when I tried to explain to him that my ticket wasn’t working, he started yelling, and inter

The facility is very nice, the acute care clinic is very helpful to have. The physicians are great, my favorite being Surgical Oncologist Dr. Dann. Shes very sweet and knowledgeable. My infusions here take a few hours more than they should but I understand there are a lot of checks & balances prior to any administration and i appreciate the efficiency.

Fantastic hospital! Very clean and pleasant. All of the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. From the parking attendants, to the nurse. Everyone here is very friendly, helpful, and professional. Even the new employees and nurses are great. I really enjoyed my experience here. I am very impressed by UT South Western as well.
