I got here for my high risk pregnancy appointments and care and I can honestly say that the staff takes great care of you! My experiences so far being a pregnancy medicaid user, they have fought for my rights and coverage and still continued to care for me despite some things that occured with it. The social workers here also do an incredible job fighting for you and if there is anything extra services you need,they make sure you get them. Felicia and Marcenia social workers are incredible throughout your care with the teams here. If you need to fight a doctor, they'll step up for you. If you are worried about care, don't be. There are good ppl here that will see you through. And apologies if you do not end up getting not the greatest experience.. I can't speak for you and your personal ex

PS. By the way, they still charged me my co-pay, even though they tried to shun me off. This was to be a TeleHealth call. I went into the server and was denied. Their tech support clueless. I said for them to have her please call me. She told me that it’s been 20 minutes and you’re late and need to reschedule. ????? This is what I wrote in frustration and anger honestly. They’ve traded me around 4 times in the last two years. You should be able to some type of small bond or connection with the person that’s psychologically helping you get better I assume, but there was none of that here and it was a if I was just nothing. Everyone was super nice! Medical staff was excellent and very helpful and accommodating. Not really impressed with the parking. Stalls are pretty narrow and unfortunately you have to pay for parking. They charge by the hour, which I think is not cool. You are already there having to spend a lot of money on medical appointments and procedures and then they bleed you at the parking lot. It should be free parking or a small amount not like the 15/16 bucks I got charged.

I'm having a very difficult pregnanacy and i feel like these folks are ignoring everything i say im going through. *I* had to advocate for SUPPOSITORY version of a nausea med cause they kept throwing oral meds at me I CANT KEEP DOWN. I told them i waas having difficulty breathing due to a HUGE fibroid pressing against my diaphragm (something they are aware of.) and they told me I needed fluids. FLUIDS. and to go to THEIR emergency department (The bed hurt, and i had almost NO privacy despite being forced into a gown.) STILL CANT BREATHE WELL. Every day feels like im dying and they do nothing! My doctor seems to care, but also seems very limited in what she can do for me. I’ve been using UT Health Services for more than 25 years. They are very caring, respectful, and professional. Dr. Rutherford is wonderful. She listens carefully and with interest. She responds to all my questions and always offers great suggestions. I definitely recommend this facility!
