Best staff, best Doctors and best overall experience I've ever had in a medical setting. From admission to discharge you will be in the most caring and attentive hands you could only dream about. 5 stars is not enough.

Would like to say that the nurses, doctors and admin staff at U T Health Carthage are tops in my book. I've been an in patient there on multiple occasions and have always been treated with respect and dignity and have been well cared for. Dr Theresa Chadwick and Sandra the case manager have been very caring and kind to me and have my gratitude and thanks. I truly love everyone there

I sat in the waiting room for an hour and twenty minutes. I paid $50. My personal info was left out on the counter while other patients was called up to sign their papers. Just to be told I can't be seen because their physician can't read xrays or take xrays. So I asked to just be treated for the symptoms as I had already been to the ER a week earlier. I just needed a stronger antibiotic. They still couldn't see me. I sat in the waiting room till so late that I don't even have another option to see anyone now. Everyone else is closed. There is no excuse to have patients waiting in the waiting room for that long if they can't even see you. That should have been caught within 15 min.

Horrible, horrible horrible treatment of their patients and then if you call back the operator will try to give you medical advice. Please do not listen to her. Her name is Cathy. and just like so many of these other reviews, I’m reading the only thing that happened is they did not give me enough antibiotic to clear up my condition and then refused to see me or help me again. Asked to be referred to an administrator and of course got voicemail. I guess Google is the only one who listen maybe it will help someone else stay away from there

This was my second visit to UTHealth ER. First time I was told my high blood pressure reading of 211/109 was all in my head. This time I would not have gone there but the episode was so severe I could not have made the trip to an out of town facility. Neither the doctor nor the nurses listened to anything I said the problems I was having or the measures I had taken to try to get better. The only person who seemed to have a clue that night was the cardio tech who was very professional and knowledgeable. I was admitted for “observation” but not observed. I was there again for extremely high blood pressure and related issues but not hooked up to the blood pressure monitor. It just stood unplugged next to my bed all night.
