UT Dentists

This review is for the front desk staff who does not know how to provide correct information to new patients. When I called the office for the first time, I was told to do a cbct I just need my dentist's referral and I was even provided with an email id to send the referral to. Later when I called to ask for pricing and to make an appointment, I was told that a doctor at that office would first determine whether I need it or not. That means I need to make an appointment just to be told that I need a cbct (for which I already have a referral) and then I need another appointment to do the test. Also, the staff told me that they only see patients who would like to continue their treatment at the UT dentists. So, in short, they only care for people who can be used as cash cows, and not actuall

I was charged for missing an appointment that I hadn’t confirmed and they still charged me anyways. I put a request to reverse charge due to financial reasons and manager is so irresponsible that she doesn’t care to respond to the email until 2 months and no follow ups. Furthermore the office operator was down rude when I called, saying it’s your fault since you didn’t show up when I told her I hadn’t confirmed and was in a remote location at work.

Received a call back to schedule an appointment after submitting a request online .I Missed the call. I called the scheduling department the representative I spoke with had an unprofessional tone and asked questions under knowledgeable of proximity. She lead the conversation by asking what department I was scheduling in. How am I supposed to know? So I replied with dentistry.To which she responded with “the whole building was dentistry .”The right question to ask an inquiring patient will be what procedure do you want to receive and then provide said information on that department. The rest of the conversation was snarky. Please retrain your representatives on customer service and how to properly triage a call. Hopefully the rest of the experience will go better than the initial phone call

I will submit 2 reviews. One very lousy and another one to the doctor which is an excellent professional worth taking the trip from Katy to Houston. This one review is for the lousy and disorganized administration services when one checks in. They did not have the insurance information on file and they did not bother to check at the time of scheduling the appointment blaming on me for not providing that information. It is the first time it happens with a medical provider, the insurance information is always checked at scheduling the appointment. We decided to never come back. It is a real shame because Dr. Alejandro Aponte is one of the best odontologists in Houston. Very unhappy patient.

Had an exceptional visit at UT Dentists with my daughter! We had appointments for a new patient check-up, cleaning, and filling replacement—all done in a single day. The staff, provider, and dental hygienist were friendly, welcoming, and professional. The facility was impeccably clean and well-presented. Grateful to have found a dental office that truly prioritizes patient care. Any previous negative experiences were completely overshadowed by the exceptional service at UT Dentists. Looking forward to our future visits! My daughter was also very impressed by the quality of care and the thorough answers to her dental health inquiries.
