I was concerned when the excellent PA I had seen for over a year left the Practice. However, my last visit was with Dr Eva Sum. She is wonderful. Professional, she knows her “stuff” but down to earth. Warm and friendly. She made me feel comfortable and reassured me I was in good hands. Great visit!!

Good doctors, terrible scheduling/question service. It is frustrating that anytime I call in I am on hold for at least a 1/2 hr. I understand that they can call me back, but I do work and can't always just "be available" whenever they reach back out. Digestive Health mgmt, you really need to address this. Currently 51min into a hold to reschedule a procedure.

I have complaint about an NP giving escalatory advice without considering my report of improvement, an MD not being involved early enough and not ever taking responsibility for the NP's wrong advice, and the company compliance department feigning empathy and then failing to follow through. Prior to needed scopes, MD said NP's escalatory referrals (based on a CT scan showing four possible causes for pain) weren't wrong and that I wasn't taking my pain/problem seriously enough (even though pain had almost entirely resolved at the time of NP's ED and surgery referrals). After the scopes, which showed no problems, the MD said to me: "well maybe going foward aches and pains can be considered just aches and pains." So the MD gets to have it both ways and the patient is securely gaslit. Why this

Dr. Sum is a great doctor that has a nice personality and greets you with a smile. She's very thorough with your care. She will have you tested to find out exactly what the problem is. It's up to you whether you follow her suggestions for testing. If you do she will get your diagnosis correct. You have to follow her instructions and you will be feeling better very soon.

What could have been a 1 minute appointment, where I only needed to drop off a device that videotaped a pill in my stomach, became a 45 minute wait in the waiting room. And the only reason they finally got to me when they did was because one of the doctors who was seeing me happened to need to speak to one of the receptionists and she happened to then see me standing there in pain(I have muscular dystrophy and my pain increases the longer I stand or sit in most chairs)with the device wrapped around me. Who knows how much longer it would have taken, but she took the device from me at that point, and I left almost an hour after I got there. Seems like a very disorganized office. Also, they've so far failed to diagnose either of the issues I went to them for over the past few months. UPDATE:
