Urgent Medical Care of Skaneateles

My first experience at Urgent Care in Skaneateles was much better than expected after reading the negative reviews. I went in for acute lower back pain, was seen in about 20 minutes. They did X-rays on site and I spent less than two hours total. I was very impressed by all the staff. They let me talk and actually listened.

I would like to make a complaint about Urgent Medical Care of Skaneateles, 803 West Genesee Street, Skaneateles, NY 13152 and the physician who is known as Anton Chertkovsky. My experience going to the walk-in clinic was not pleasant. I sat around in the waiting room for over an hour because they only had one nurse working on a Saturday. The front desk and the nurse were great they were doing everything they could to help clients coming in and going. I felt bad that they were in the predicament they were in. I have been going to this walk-in clinic for years and always made it a priority to go to this one due to the service and quality of care given, always. Had to visit Skaneateles Urgent Care today for a minor problem. My experience from start to finish was 5 stars! Sue, at the Registration Desk , Linda , my nurse and Jim Butler (and his student) all delivered prompt service and made my visit a very positive experience! Keep up the good work.

Very friendly staff; the nurses are sweet and caring. The providers are helpful and think outside the box when necessary. The front-end staff are efficient, welcoming, and friendly. If you arrive at the opportune time, there's a possibility that you could be in and out within the hour.

We have had the occasion to utilize Skaneateles Urgent Care on a few instances. This past weekend, we encountered a complication with my daughter's medical condition that necessitated specific laboratory tests. Skaneateles Urgent Care is the only facility with a lab open on Sundays, and her tests required Sunday timing. One of the required tests was uncommon and not typically performed there. Recognizing the stress I was under, the staff demonstrated exceptional kindness and resourcefulness, ensuring that we obtained the necessary tests. Ken, Marcia, Linda, and the front desk staff exhibit remarkable patience and compassion. I appreciate and highly recommend this facility.
