Customer Reviews
I winter here in Morro Bay going on 3 years now. When I first arrived I researched where I could get medical help if needed as I am prone to getting banged up in the surf. When I learned that Urgent Care was the only game in town I read the reviews and quickly learned there were many unfavorable reviews. I thought to myself I'll just make the drive 20 minutes to SLO if I have any serious need. Well, the other day I needed stitches and couldn't make the drive to SLO, so I took a my chances on Urgent Care. I honestly cannot relate to the past negative reviews that were given here. I had a wonderful experience from the front desk, exam room for stitches then onto radiology for X-rays. Everyone pleasant, professional and accommodating. Unless I'm unconscious and ambulanced to an emergency roo
My friend arrived at Urgent Care with a deep laceration on his lower leg. Within a short amount of time he was attended to, with meticulous care and efficiency. He was given the appropriate medicines, stitches and bandages to allow him to leave on his own and return home. Well done team! We really appreciate your excellent service today.
We came here after my husband got stung by a stingray and they took great care of him. They immediately knew how to treat him, what to look out for and what medications to prescribe. Even though we came on a Sunday, they were very quick and we were helped immediately. We were very happy with our experience!
On 12/19/25 I was satisfied with the PA who stitched up my left pointer finger. It was small only at only 4 stitches, but deep. He asked assistant to bandage it up after. She put 1 bandaid on the wound just below the joint and asked if that was ok. I said, I guess so as I’m not a medical assistant and don’t know protocol on splint or larger bandaid to keep joint from bending. By day six I realized even though I kept it dry and covered majority of day that the stitches were starting to come undone. I guess from the bending I couldn’t avoid. So one stitch fell out and after that I made a cotton splint to keep me from bending it and losing more. Well by day 9 they all started to lift out. So I bought butterfly bandaids to seal it. It’s day 13 and it’s still not sealed fully, it
Going to Morro Bay Urgent Care was a great experience and I recommend the facility. There wasn’t a wait, the front desk staff was warm and welcoming and the NP was professional and prescribed what he thought would be helpful. Family and friends always drive into SLO for urgent care and my experience was as good if not better than what they’ve received there - and it’s closer!
