Urgent Care of Idaho - Jerome Clinic

I am submitting this to document my experience at Jerome Urgent Care regarding the evaluation and treatment of my 15-month-old daughter. The care provided during this visit was, in my opinion, dismissive, insufficient, and ultimately resulted in a delayed diagnosis and treatment of significant infections. I brought my daughter to Jerome Urgent Care due to concerning symptoms, including: • A high-grade fever of 103°F that was not responding to alternating doses of ibuprofen and acetaminophen • A swollen, red eye with thick green discharge • Ear pain, evidenced by ear pulling and discomfort • Thick green nasal discharge Given her age and the severity of her symptoms, I was extremely concerned and sought urgent medical evaluation. Went in very sick and had been for over a week. Tested for covid was negative. Was told to buy asteopro for "hayfever" I had cold sweats severe body aches and just needed anything to get me through the day as I run a business and have to work. I was told to take ib profuen and asteo pro. I was billed the most I've ever seen for a urgent care for them to tell me to continue doing what I was doing. I went to my main doctor a few days later and was prescribed antibiotics and flonase which is what helped me. My primary doctor was covered by insurance. I cannot express this enough unless you want to be told to take over the counter stuff do not go here. I was visiting with a electrician and he told me he had a broken wrist and they xrayed it and said it wasn't broken. He then received a call ar

Dr. Hank and Alicia treated my ear problem with a kind smile and quick solution. My needed script was called ahead to the local pharmacy of my choice. From start to finish 1hr, including the picked up ear drops. Thank you for taking care of a out of towner with VA medical insurance. I can't leave out the front desk personality who called the VA to verify coverage with ease.

The front desk girl was super nice, and got us in really quickly. Absolutely cannot say enough great things about the dr we saw, sadly I didn’t get his name. He listened, understood, and was all around a great guy. I appreciate him knowing that when a mom thinks something is off about her child, there probably is. Great people here, and a nice new facility too.

I cannot say enough good things about their care and attentiveness. We arrived shortly before they were going to close hoping to save ourselves a drive to Twin Falls. They gladly took us. They were transparent about the cost beforehand. We were taken back quickly and efficiently. Ashleigh the nurse was kind. Jacob Walker PA-C had several patients but we never felt rushed or neglected. He was straightforward and provided exceptional care given the circumstances. We appreciate everyone’s help yesterday. I recommend them if you have any concerns or issues!
