Urgent care medical Center

“I went to urgent care today, and the staff told me my insurance was not active. They pulled up an old insurance from 3 years ago in another state instead of the current one. This is very frustrating because I have active Fidelis insurance now, but due to someone not updating or doing their job properly, I was told I had to pay out of pocket. Why should I pay when I already have valid insurance? This is very unprofessional and causes unnecessary stress for patients.”

Overall it is ok, was visiting evening time and line was so small did not wait for long. Liked nurse she was respectful front desk lady was respectful as well. However did not like the doctor, lack of informing patient with condition and decisions. I was asking all questions. Made me feel like I for pills and prescription. Not interested at all in patient.

Almost walked out with 104+ fever without anyone checking my temp. After hearing my symptoms I was tested for strep and results were positive. Usually you walk into a doctor's office and they measure you heart rate, blood pressure and temperature, but none of this was done. On my way out to get my prescription the doctor finally saw me in the hallways and asked if I had my temp taken and he was blown away that I manage to drive there with 104+ fever and sent me out with some Tylenol. Tried going there a few other times to see if it wasn't just a fluke, but it wasn't. Everything there was something unpleasant, neglectful, or simply incompetent.

The worst place to go in an emergency, the customer service is terrible and they get upset if you don't speak English. They are not professionals in this place
