Urgent Care for Children

Amazing 10/10 experience. We were seen right away as a walk-in and all the staff was exceptional. Everyone was very knowledgable and friendly. NP Chip’s bedside manner was the best I’ve ever seen and I’m an RN myself. Couldn’t believe how amazing NP Chip was. We were so happy that we took our child there. Our son had a virus giving him trouble breathing and he was breathing so much better that night thanks to NP Chip and his team :). Highly recommend!

Our 4 month old grand baby was staying with us while her parents were out of state. She’s very healthy but suddenly developed major nasal and chest congestion accompanied by that scary croupy cough. This clinic was recommended by a friend of our daughter so I called around 2:00 on Sunday afternoon. There were no openings for an appointment but was assured she could be seen as long as we arrived before 5 and informed me of the 90 minute wait time. We live an hour away so immediately headed that way. When we arrived the receptionist perfunctorily greeted us, but seemed irritated when I had a couple questions regarding the paperwork. We were sweetly greeted by the nurses as they called other patients back. The wait was long but that was expected and acceptable. The back staff  were very kind

My wife and I took our 11 month daughter to this urgent care tonight at 6:00 pm to be seen with a 103 degree fever. However upon our arrival, we were told that we wouldn’t be seen because the doctor had already cut off patients from being seen even though they didn’t close until 8:00 p.m. When asked if they would please reconsider given our daughter’s temperature and the fact that we drove 45 minutes from Tennessee to be seen following the recommendation from the pediatrician, the physician still said no. We were told we could go the pediatric ER if we still would like to been seen, but it “ probably was just the flu or RSV and she was too young to be treated so just rotate Tylenol and Motrin.” I’m sorry, you can just make treatment recommendations without being willing to assess. This used to be our favorite urgent care to take our kids to but it has went down hill tremendously over the past couple of months. Twice now I have checked online to see if they are taking appointments and they were not, so I called to see if walk ins were being accepted and was told yes only to drive all the way over here from the other side of town to be told they can’t see us. The doctor himself is nice but the establishment is unfortunately terrible now not to mention the constant smell of urine in the waiting area.

Baby Girl woke up running a fever SORE Throat and she had thrown up. I was able to secure an appointment for 40 mins after they opened. Wait time was maybe 5 mins or less. The Young Lady that did her vitals and the swab test was ABSOLUTELY AWESOME with my Baby Girl. Would Definitely Recommend Them. The Young Lady at the Check-in Desk was AWESOME as well.. And Very Courteous. The Dr had Great Bedside Manners and Didn't Do too much and Aggravate My Lil One.. GREAT TEAM ALL AROUND !!!
